Review of the WRS touring from a 4700 km trip. Autobahn, Highway, twisties and light gravel.

Good: Looks better with the smoke than the Expdition screen, at least on my dark bike.

Tall enough, when going long distance at high speed I can crouch behind the screen to get better wind protection on the motorways.

Can stand without problem and get clean and cooling air. Did not do any enduro stuff though.

Had a Puig but never felt the need to mount it. It even worked well on the autobahn at 190kmh.

Bad: Wind noise. Same as the Expidition screen. My solution is to wear 3m disposable ear plugs, deep in my ear canals. Then I don’t bother about it. Went on the twisties with reusable ear plugs (lower rating) , but could not handle the noise as it bothered me too much, changed to 3m and was happy again (and can still hear music from intercom).

All in all, like it and I will keep it for my longer rides (that includes a lot of +130 kmh riding). And for extending the season when it’s colder.

For the local day rides I will use the shorter WRS Enduro, which I really like.

WRS has several. Is the touring the middle height one? Have the WRS enduro which is my main screen for local rides. But need a better screen for long distance/longer trips.
Yes, that the middle one. Works great and looks great for being that good at shielding you from the wind. Height-wise it is between the oem low screen and the expedition screen.

The Expedition screen isn't tall enough for me (6'2").. I added one of these cheap fleaBay add-ons but I don't like it.
How tall is the highest WRS screen?

WRS Caponord is 400mm (measured from top of headlight). Browse the pics to see the measurements. Touring is 335mm as reference.

Now I am 6'4" and for 99% i find the screen too tall, I really dont like looking through the screen and want to be looking over one, I am looking to swap out my expedition screen for a shorter one ASAP, Having come off a harley with no screen this idea of any screen having a buffeting problem just does not apply they are all way better than no screen at all at 80mph for 4 or five hours, Plus I rode with a very very short screen on the 990 adv so considering an after market one shorter than the standard norden screen

Can highly recommend WRS Enduro if you want really short. This is my main screen for daily rides. Works really good.

Powerbronze is another short option.
