I'm excited to finally be able to talk about this brace. I just received the go ahead to mention it in a post. One of the other Norden Forum users ECJJCE (great fabricator and all around good guy) developed a really cool headlight - tower brace set up. I have been using a prototype of it since last May, and the difference it made is like day and night. The stability of the headlight - tower area has been rock solid. The headlight protector is no longer popping out from under the windshield and, this is big for me, I do not need to remove the wind deflector on graded dirt roads. I do take the deflector off on rougher roads and trails due to the lower sight line level of the main shield.

Once the braces were installed, the difference was immediately noticeable, even just riding down the street. There was no more windshield shake. That's saying a lot based on the size of my windshield especially with the wind deflector on it. The headlight-tower area would be even more stable using the stock or smaller windshields. With the windshield on, you don't even see the braces, unless you know what you are looking for.

You can contact him directly for further details, pricing and availability.

I have purchased and installed ECJJCE's braces and they are a must have especially if you have a GPS mounted as well. They are super easy to install, the kit had everything needed for the install and instructions were nicely detailed. I noticed a huge difference after installation related to vibration on the tower, screen, and GPS. So much of a difference that I had to really try and see any vibration at all! Awesome job on this kit and highly recommend it. Took that cheap tower/dash feeling I have been having and made it go away.

Just received my brace kit today. I read the instructions first (can you believe it?) and started a stopwatch on my phone. It took right at 20 minutes to do the whole job start to finish.... and that was with me loligagging along with the tunes going and a cold beer. Very easy and straightforward install.
I'm pretty stoked about this straightforward "fix" to the plastic somewhat flimsy tower. Thanks ECJJCE!

Glad you're stoked. Pretty simple kit, but it makes a big difference.
