hello, just a quick question the Norden user manual says that we should use RON 95 ( OCTANE FUEL), instead of RON 97, (in europe our measures and standarts for fuel are diferent from the states), but I have read in multiple sites that since our engine compression ratio is 13:5.1 the higher octane fuel will be better for the engine.

Can someone with a better knowledge can explain me please.

Don’t use high octane fuel (97 Ron), this seem to cause cold start issues, where the bike on cold days and when the bike has been left overnight, will often either start and run on one cylinder or start and then die. Big thing on KTM 790 and 890 bike and the 901 seems for some, to suffer the same trait.

This is not a given, some suffer while others have no problem.
