Good luck, I'm not sure 100% if it will or wont fit, but I know the high fender takes up all of the bolts where the front brake lines fit up to...

Yes I have the upper crash bars (DB parts) and installed the high fender.
Your assumption is correct. The fender will hit the bars.
Easy fix though. You need to use a little plate and a couple of longer screws to lower the high fender a little bit.

thanks a lot! that s exactly what i went for but i m concerned about the tire hitting the fender when the fork bottoms up cus indeed
you are reducing the travel of the suspension.
Have you experienced any priblem
so far? Also,
may i ask you which material is your extension plate made of? i was thinking to have it done in iron or steel even though a 3d printer would probably be good enough?
Thanks again, love to see how it came out!
Has anybody found a Crosspro dealer in the US? The upper bar freight is almost twice the cost of the unit per their website. Any other options in the US for only the upper crash bars?

also, did you change the fork
plastics too or those are the original
ones? i ve got the whole high fender set (the fender only was in back order so
i had to go for the kit)

nope. Look better in Europe, some sellers charge 220 usd, others 100 usd

The kit comes with the black fork guards along with the high fender.

The fender installs with 2 bolts that mount horizontally into the fork and two that mound vertically. I had a small aluminum plate which was just about the right size so I used that. You could use anything, I would recommend a metal though opposed to plastic. That allows you to mount the horizontal bolts (you need two extra bolts).

You then need to add some spacers to mount the vertical orientated bolts (and you need to get longer bolts).

Overall I think the fender is lower by about 1 inch the way I have done it. I haven't had the bike off-road since install, but there is more than 220mm above the top of the wheel to the fender, so I believe it is good.

thanks a lot, i ll have to have the plate made i guess. Thanks for the pics too!
my fork travel is 240mm so i ll just measure the distance as you did!
Can i leave the stock fork guards? my set came with the orange guards...
in the second picture that shows the spacers, i don't see the back part of the fender? the one with holes to let air into the radiator? did you cut it out?

This is the fender kit I got. You can see the cut outs I believe you are referring too

It comes with the fork guards because they mount a bit differently than the stock ones. The stock ones connect directly to the low fender. Without it they won't be stable enough.

yup that s the kit. Unfortunately the white one was on back order so i went for the white fender/orange guarda hoping i could just leave the stock guards on but now i've learned i cannot since they won t be stable enough.
thanks for all the info, much appreciated 👊

I've used this on other parts of the bike. It looks great.
i ve got the expedition...there is no matt anywhere but thanks for the tip, i may get the glossy version of it. I will first try to return the kit and buy the white/black one if not still on back order! Was it tricky to install the ktm fork guards or intuitive?

It's an easy install. You can get that vinyl in a bunch of colors.
