Anyone have upgraded foot pegs with personal experience? Do the KTM Rally pegs fit on the Norden? Any advice is appreciated.
I put pivot pegz on. I love them. Though I discovered that cause of my side 13 boots I can activate the side stand kill switch if I rotate my heels down too far lowering the kick stand. So I've made a modification to the pegs so they only rotate forward. I find that feature really comfortable especially standing up hill.

I've got the Vanasche Motorsports Adventure Pegs and bar riser on mine, and I love them. They perfected the fit of the bike for me. It was amazing how much more comfortable they were when standing.

I installed a set of Lone Rider foot pegs on a friends Norden. They are super wide, and very nicely made, but look like they might clog with mud a little too easily if you ride in those kind of conditions. They also came with a multitude of different plastic inserts of different hardnesses that insert into 4 holes on each peg where the platform meets the mount. These control the 'stiffness' of the peg, and go from fixed to more flexible. There is a chart included for different insert combinations that include 'settings' like: deep sand, hard dirt and bad knee (yes, bad knee). All of which seems a little gimmicky to me........
I'll be going with Vanasche Rally pegs on mine (if it ever shows up.....).

I also have Pivot Pegz, super product and yiu can buy service kits for them. I had them fitted to my 2005 KTM and swapped them to the Norden. The stock pegs are same as old KTM so fitting was easy.
You can also lower them. i too have large size 14 feet. Same issue with side stand so I cut off the small kick stand hoop/helper thingy that you put your boot on to kick it down, it was fouling with my boot so removing it no more catching and activating the kill switch

Thanks. Yes I've bent the hoop out of the way. I find my heels catches the stand and the foot of the side stand and when the footrest rotated backwards it's still bringing the stand low enough to activate the switch. I do have a larger foot pad installed on the kick stand and I'm not keen to get rid of it.
I can't see any easy way to modify the kick stand itself to get it out of the way. I might deactivate the kill switch if I have to.

Stay away from Black Dog . There $250 , There to far forward , half inch lower . There's not enough adjustment to get your foot to fit and Black Dog will not take returns . Not a good company to deal with. Just stick with KTM Rally Pegs . The only thing is they don't look that good being so bright.

Thanks for all the input. As I'm looking at pegs it's become apparent that almost none of the suppliers take returns once package is popped. So do the Rally pegs fit? I thought they would but looked online and couldn't see it confirmed. Thought it was weird....

Yes, they do. My buddy installed a set and they are about 75% bigger than stock. He likes them.
