Tusk and other panniers

Can inmates please comment on their experience with panniers? I have the tusk on my KTM 390 which provides protection for the exhausts but i feel it is too wide. Anyone feel the same on their 901 with a tusk pannier rack?

I've got Tusk Pilot panniers on my Norden. I bought the kit with racks included. Very limited use so far. I loaded out then took a day trip off-road for a test. They seem to work really well. On this ride we were out in the Nevada desert where width wasn't really a concern. However I don't think they're particularly wide. Narrower than the handle bars by several inches. All looks promising, but only time will tell.

Thanks a bunch for the pic and info. Looks like the views were perfect.
I'll be running Kriega Overlander-S panniers on asymmetrical racks by Outback Motortek.....32L on the left and a 22L on the exhaust side. Taking off the stock bags that came on my Expedition today, and mounting the Outback and Kriega stuff. I will be listing the OEM racks and bags for sale if anyone is interested. I don't think they are rugged enough for 'real' off-road use, but would probably make fine touring and commuter bags....
I'm running the Mosko 35's. With the racks they are a little wider than I expected when full, but cinch down pretty tight if not at capacity. Exhaust side sticks out about even with the bar end, other side is tucked in a bit.

I'm using Rhinowalk 28L soft bags and have a 30L top bag as well. Pretty cheap and tough.
