Sliders?

I was thinking that putting some sliders on the outside of the skid plate on the Norden Expedition that might be helpful in keeping the bike looking nice after the inevitable low speed tip-over and also make it a bit easier to pick up. Perhaps some flat ones like you see on case covers or? Any ideas or ones that already are designed for the Norden or KTM Adventure? I'm hoping to add protection without the weight of heavy crash bars. Weight is everything!

I noticed this spot as a possible mounting point for longish sliders also. That would be awesome for all models I'd guess but needs to be 6" to 7" I'd say:
