Well, i know i'm not going to just sit and steer the keyboard while i wait for the Norden line to come out. Here's a couple pictures from my last ride. Was about 600miles round trip going from the oregon coast, down through northern california, then back up the california and oregon coast with my father in law and his friend.

a couple older rides when i had my xt225, loved that bike, but it would get hot on the long highway rides.

Need to get photos on the next ride, currently got a wr250r, duke 690 and a customized drz400s with super moto wheels that i'm fabbing a custom seat for. Doing some mods to the 690 (reroute header, sprocket changes, and putting some k73 tires on it)
going to have a shoot out between it and the drz. I love the wr250, but after riding a supermoto i think that's the best blend for me right now, and it's just to expensive to buy the wheels for the wr, but who knows... might end up keeping the wr, custom build an all day set for it and pop for the warp nine wheels. Put the other bikes through the paces and see which is the best fit at the end of it all.

Always been a fan of KTM! I heard those 690's (and even the 390's) can generate quite a bit of heat. Has that been an issue for you? If so, how are you managing it?
I'd love to see more of that DRZ400 in a build thread here.

Can't say i have any heat issues off the duke 690, going to be re routing the exhaust once i have it back from service (this is the Duke 690, not the 690 enduro) will update on that after it's done.
Definitely will share some pictures of the drz build in the future

Ahoj HANNAbONE. V tej zelenej flaške je bežná voda. Pretože sa snažíme prespávať mimo kempov, čo je v západnej EÚ dosť ťažké. Používame na hygienu a varenie. Vozíme 2 fľašky,
hore nad fľašami čierne tenké vaky máme karimatky😀 .
