Picked up the Norden last week and was adding extras on when found a SAE connector installed. Just wondering if the Norden 901's came pre installed with a SAE connector already installed to the battery. Went to install the NOCO connector for the jump box I have for easy jumping just in case and found that it had an SAE connector already installed to the battery and ran to just hang out the left side under the panel that had the tool pouch in it. Didn't know if this was common or just something my dealer added as I have never had one pre installed before. Second question I have always used the NOCO connector for the jump box, you cannot use the SAE connectors to jump a bike of can you. The cables look very small compared to the other that's why I'm asking. Thanks in advance for the advice.

1. Dealer most likely installed SAE cable.
2. SAE connection is useful for battery charger and for air compressor. Some also use it for heated vest.

It looks like the NOCO connector may be proprietary in nature, depending on which battery pack you have? You may want to keep the SAE connector for battery tenders, portable air compressors, etc. and add the NOCO connector for your battery jump starting capability....
