Norden Rally

Just mounted the Xplor Pro suspension on my 901! Unfortunately all I got to ride it on so far is a little gravel that was covered in washboards. It just snowed 10" so going to be a little bit yet before I can give a ride report...but on the washboards I could almost not even feel them!!! That was way better than stock. Once the snow melts I will give it a good review on Colorado mountain trails/jeep roads.

does it bolt right on, calipers, front axle, from the apex, etc? Is that an 890r rear shock too?
It bolts right in! Both the fork and shock are what comes standard on the KTM Rally. I bought it from Carl’s Cycle in Boise. Part of the deal they do is they also custom valve it to your riding preferences and weight. They can be set to be 240mm or 270mm. It’s just if they add a spacer in the fork/shock or not. I went with the 240mm set up. They recommend that. They said you don’t really need to 270mm unless you are REALLY hitting stuff hard or catching air. I’m 57…my “catch air” days on an adventure bike are well behind me. With the 240mm set up, you only need to buy a longer kick stand. If you go 270 you need longer front brake lines as well. I can always take out the spacer and go to 270 if I think I need it in the future.
awesome, I am piecing together a set for my bike as well, found front forks from a 790r adventure and a rear shock from an 890r adventure... the back shock doesnt look as cool as yours though but at least it will have rebound and compression now. The stock apex is terrible when you go fast off road, found that out last week on a day trip to ocotillo wells. I'll probably look at mounting my scotts dampner on there as well as it almost swapped good on me a couple of times, hold on!
Agree the stock suspension isn’t very good for off road which is where I am 95% of the time. What I have ready is that the adventure R suspension is much better off road, but gives up a little on road to the Apex. The Xplor Pro is supposed to be much better everywhere. That’s why I went that route.
How much did that run you shipped?

I think it was around $6k when I was poking around some sites.
