Hello, all.
Just picked up a Norden this last Saturday, May 7.

I mostly ride a BMW K1600 GT Sport but I constantly found myself on dirt or poor roads while exploring areas around me. In 2020 I bought a KTM 390 ADV to test out a more ADV stye of riding, and I got hooked. The KTM was always intended to be a test bike, one I would trade when the time was right.
Last Saturday I rode by my dealer and they had a 901. I bought it on the spot.

Looking forward to learning from you all, I am very much a newbie at this style of riding.

Well nobody els is saying it so; WELCOME! I just got here myself. Adventure bikes are cool. Have a KTM 1290 Super Adventure and an 890 Adventure plus just picked up the Norden. Rode an FJR for quite a while so I know where you're coming from.

Yeah it’s been a quiet welcome lol.
No worries, people are busy.

It’s already leaking coolant but the shock is still working, and the bike is great. I love it.

You have quite the collection!

My 890 leaked coolant, upper hose clamp wasn't put on right at the factory. That was over a year ago you'd think they'd sort that by now. If you're still on your first tank make sure both petcocks are open, mine wasn't! I ran out of gas with half a tank showing yesterday. Based on my 890 Adventure experience I can tell you that they are great bikes. The Norden feels like an 890 Adventure for grown ups to me.

Thanks on the coolant hose info.
Happened yesterday, I noticed it when I got home after a 300 miles and change ride. A mix of country, high speed freeway, and trails. I’m assuming this is coolant, left side of the skid plate.

The shock is the one that worries me more as I see people waiting months for a fix.
