Hey Folks,
I´m new at this forum and wanna introduce myself. Just got my Norden 901 delivered two days ago, had a short experience today because of cold and rainy weather.
I sold my Triumph Tiger Sport and changed to a Norden, are already delighted very much. I still look to change the bike design to rebuild it as close as possible to the prototyp design (see pictures on top).
So in case somebody has good ideas I would appreciate to get informations...
In attachment you can see my new star for the road, the dirt and travel...

I am 60 years old, driving bikes since 45 years and be still convinced to keep running. my favourite area to explore are the Pyrenees and whole country of France.

Good morning, it is not the exact colour placement, it is mainly the tail of the bike. The first one which was built at the prototype, was much nicer than the one at the commercial one.
So I´m always interested in improvements so far...

Congratulations on your new Norden @Georg and welcome! What about the Norden convinced you to go get one and sell your Triumph?

In fact I sold both Triumph Tiger Sport and a Triumph Thunderbird Sport...
The Tiger Sport still is a fantastic bike, I spent about 20.000 km riding in the past 4 years, always heading to Spain and France. But always when I arrived at a dirt road or wanted to go a bit offroad to reach my target I came into trouble and sometimes had to turn around.
I wanted to downsize a bit concerning weight and power, in France or Spain you can´t drive fast any more or you have to pay much money.
The Norden or a similar bike is more flexible, you stay more open at your way to drive. I tried the Tiger 900 Rallye but wasn´t convinced, the Yamaha Tenere is to high for me and the design of the KTM 890 adventure is not mine.

I think the Norden is the synthesis of all...

I wish you all a nice weekend.... George

We had a similar thought process here George. I’ve tried many adventure bikes from friends or off road demos (T7, Tiger 900 Rally Pro, Husky 701, KLR 650, Aprilia Tuareg, Multistrada V4, 890 Adventure R) and even had a 2021 R1250GSA and none of them quite did it for me.
I loved riding the 890 Adventure R but frankly it was fuck ugly and I couldn’t get over it. Once I saw the Norden announced using the same underpinnings as the 890 Adventure I knew I had to jump on it.
I’ve had my Norden for about 2 weeks now and I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with a bike faster than I have with this one.

Like you said, it was the perfect synthesis.
