Awesome. Keep me posted on available side bags. I was thinking soft this time instead on the panniers.Hi Jude.
Very interesting your feelings after a first ride ! I did the same as you : I changed my GS1200 Adv 2008 for a Norden. The GS is too heavy for me now. The Husky is allready in the store waiting for some accessories. I think I will get it on February when the lowering kit is installed (if I can wait until that).
The frame seems to be similar to the KTM 890 Adv. I probably will install soft luggage from Bumot, they will check to adapt their racks to the Norden for end January (BUMOT Motorcycle Luggage).
Cable clutch won’t leave you stranded like a blown clutch slave cylinder will. Good to see KTM finally acknowledged the fault and issued a recall.... The only bummer, I wish it came with a hydraulic clutch like my FE501 or 300xcw tpi. Can’t wait for the first trip.
Well I’m ditching the old R1200gs and bought a 901. It arrive while I was away snowboarding but as soon as they opened today, I took delivery of it and went for a spin. Have to say, it handles nice and doesn’t feel like a heavy bike. Can’t wIt til I get get me hands on some upgrades. My local dealer doesn’t show availability for anything, not even Husky accessories. If anybody knows a source, please let me know. Thanks and ride save.
Thanks Jude, can I ask where you got the lowering kit? Thanks DonHi Jude.
