Rottweiler finally shipped out the high fender kit that I ordered back in May. Super easy to install, maybe 15-20 minutes, however typical KTM did not send any instructions with it or anything that would indicate what bolts go where.

I love the look, makes it look less like a road bike and more aggressive.

Dude, your auxillery lights look sick. Are those entirely different lights? I think I saw someone use stained glass paint or something like that to do something similar. But yours look great!
Thanks, they are by clearwater, they slip over the existing lights and can be popped on or off in a second. They also come with clear lenses if you just want to protect the stock LED's. I got the idea from someone on this forum, cant remember who off the top of my head originally figured this out, but they work great!

Its as simple as taking off 3 screws per side, removing the stock fender and installing the fork protectors into those 3 screw locations on each side. Then remove the 4 screws holding the brake line bracket just below the triple clamp, the new fender will attach there. Use blue loctite and they go in hand tight. That's it. I think they all take a M40 torx bit.

DW, where did you get the fork gaiters, or who wrapped them? I’ve tired of the white both there and on the side panels. I want them flat or matte black. The yellow is next. Neither are aging well for me.

I agree. I don't like the white at all. Nothing a can of flat black primer can't fix! 😂

At least some of the high fender kits come with the gaitors.

Any long term updates on the high fender install DWC? Pros/cons/other?
Good so far, I haven't noticed any changes to the bike good or bad other than it looks much better.

I did some single track / 2 track a month ago with by buddy, the high fender looked more at home on the trail than my buddies stock bike. At just $100 for the full kit, or $40 for just the 890 high fender and mod the stock fork guards I would say it's worth it!
