That reminds me, time to get on that mailing list as well.Hi CrzyHusky,
No I haven't contacted Husqvarna, but have subscribed to their newsletter which I guess will give news as and when they want to make it public
Nairobi to Capetown must've been a beautiful ride! How long was the trip?Hi, I've had it since January. Before that I had an 1190 adv R and a 990 adv.
I did UK to Nordkapp and Nairobi to Cape Town on the 1190.
So quite loyal to the KTM brand and open to the Norden as it is 'family'
I'm incredibly jealous haha. Do you have any photos that you'd be willing to share?5 weeks with Globebusters - Fantastic!. Also added the Garden Route with them for an extra 2 weeks.
If you go to South Africa, the Die Hel road in the Swartberg mountains is a must:
Die Hel (otherwise known as Gamka's Kloof and Gamkaskloof) is a valley located in the Western Cape Province, on the south-western coast of South Africa. Nobody is sure where the 'Die Hel' name came from. One popular story is that a Piet Botha (an animal inspector) visited the valley in the 1940s...www.dangerousroads.org
as is the Fish River Canyon in Namibia.
in the very same boat, got a couple other bikes i would be interested in owning, but since the Norden isn't too far away, i'm willing to waitI currently have a KTM 1090 adv R, and was considering a change to a 790 adv R, until I saw the Norden.
So eagerly looking forward to more news, price and launch date in UK
