Still waiting for mine to come in. It was 37° F yesterday riding into work. Temps were fine just layered up and battery powered heated gloves.
After some effort I finally figured out how to set a shortcut to the OEM heated grips. This means I no longer have to stop to turn them on and off. All done on the fly now.

Nice! Please share how.

With the bike stopped from the menu it's easiest to have your heated grips turned on from the settings menu. If they are not turned on the programming function won't find it, see below.
Automotive tire Automotive lighting Vehicle Light Motor vehicle

From here go back to the settings menu and select quick selector
Reflex camera Digital camera Camera accessory Point-and-shoot camera Camera lens

The pics below show what to do next. I selected the up arrow to program
Motor vehicle Vehicle Automotive tire Light Product

From there the menu takes you to this screen. scroll up untill you find heated grips

Light Sports equipment Plant Motor vehicle Camera accessory

Product Gadget Audio equipment Motor vehicle Cameras & optics

Back out of the menus and all done.

Copy all! Thank you. It's unfortunate that you can only program the up/down arrows for quick selection. Right now, I have my "up" programmed for ride mode and "down" for my trip reset. I might have to change the "up" during the winter months to the grips and switch it back to ride mode during the spring/summer/fall. That's if/when I get my grips. Thanks again.

I've had these on order since June. At this rate Santa Claus will be the one making the delivery. Am waiting to install them before I put on the Hepco and Becker hand guards.

dealer to tell the ecu to recognise them
Grips are due to be available in the US in..............December. Here in Wisconsin it was 32F this am and I could really use them now.

Did you turn on the feature in the settings menu ? They will not function until you do this. I just installed them on my MY22 and they work great with no dealer flash!!
KtillOil what brand heated gloves are you using?

My 12v corded ones are Tourmaster. The 7.4v battery powered gloves are mobile warming. I use the battery powered gloves for commuting to and from work (20 miles one way). I use the corded gloves for the longer, all day rides.

I am having trouble finding the connector, where did you find it?
Received my heated grip kit yesterday. One of the easier installs and did not have to take it to the dealer for activation. Just enabled the grips in the "settings" menu.

Where did you find the connector? I have been searching around the triple clamp

The connector for the grips is between the upper and lower triple clamps. It's a white connector with a dummy plug/cap on it. The connector for the control unit is under the seat near the fuse block.

Thank you, mine was behind the radiator, to centre of the fan, had to take off side panel to glimpse the label, then my daughter with small hands and long finger nails was able to retrieve it!
How are you guys getting grips now? My dealer said December. I
They have been on order since I bought the bike in May.

I was getting the same from my dealer. Then they showed as "in stock" on AOMC (and they're still showing as available), so I placed an order. (KTM Heated Grip Kit 890 Adventure) But after waiting a couple of weeks, I reached out to see what gives and they said the website is wrong. Looks like they haven't bothered to correct it.

Finally, I had an alert set on eBay for the kit and I got a hit. Seller had two available and I was able to get one. Needless to say, they were gone very quickly. Looks like you might be able to piece the kit together though. The HCU is available...so are the grips (separately).

HCU: Heated Seat Grip Control Module Unit HCU 2022 Norden 901 Husqvarna #T279 A | eBay

Grips: Replacement Heated Grips Norden 901 2022 Genuine Husqvarna KTM 22 #C207 | eBay

Those two items should be all you need.
