My long awaited grips just arrived. Fairly quick and easy install and I didn’t have to take the bike in to get them turned on, like the instructions state.

So you didn’t get the ones that include the HCU to use the heated seat as well? Ive been waiting almost 9 months now , still on back order…
Ordered the full kit with HCU on the 14th of July and they just came in. The last time I checked the back order date it was showing in March so keep your fingers crossed that they are starting to ship out.

I didn't have to have the dealer turn my on, I have the OEM grips. You have to go into settings and turn on heated grips, it's a different spot in the menu than where you choose what setting you want the grips to be on.
I found that setting easy enough. Now I have to install the TPMS sensors and see if I’m lucky twice and don’t have to the dealer activate them.

Don't forget to get the info off the tpms sensors as you're installing them and location ( front/rear ). I've read they need that info in order to program them. I'd just take a picture of the info. Please keep us updated on the process and how you feel the tpms works for you. I'm interested in installing them but not until next spring when (hopefully) my new wheels arrive.
Will do. It might be a few months before I report back as this is what it looks like out my front window.

I bought the bike back in May and ordered the OEM heated grips then. They showed up last week. Unfortunately I had one of those bikes that needed a visit to the dealer. Some do, some don't. A cold ride across town and five minutes is all it took. I had them turn everything on so I don't have to do that again. It's easy enough to toggle things on/off as needed in the "Heating" menu. I've got the heated seat on order now.
Six available.

I use the lower 'Quick Selector' to turn my heated grips on. Works better than trolling through the menus.
