Greetings, I just picked up my Norden yesterday and love the way it rides. I've been a dirt bike then Dual Sport rider up until now and want to try Adventure riding. I look forward to the information, product reviews and experience I see on this forum. I'm anxious to get the 901 in the dirt to see if I can handle light single track or just stick to fire roads in my old age.

Cheers

Keep a close eye on coolant leaks, shock oil leaks, countershaft seal oil leaks.
Dude in Saskatchewan trucked his home and found all the oil gone from the shock. Trucked it back and has waited 10-weeks now for his bike. Paid full price and hasn't even heard it run.
Don't care how awesome the 890 or 901 are, I'll only buy one if I have a backup ADV bike in the garage. My 901 deposit was returned in Feb when Husky defaulted on shipements.

Thanks for the heads up,I'll keep a close eye on those. I know these are hard to find with long waiting lists (and returned deposits) here in California, this may explain why. So far the only issue is an intermittent clunk sound when I hit the start button. I'm looking to put small crash bars and Barkbusters on it since it's not "IF" but "When" I'll drop it.

1st- Question: Is anyone using "short" levers so when the bike falls the they don't break?
I want to have short levers and Barkbusters for when I drop the new bike.
Any users or reviews ????????

Second- question: Hard top tail bag or soft ? for general use and some moderate rides. Not sure if helmet safety is worth a hard tail bag. Is there a downside to hard tail VS. soft ??

Barkbusters should be enough to protect the levers, unless you like shorties for comfort.

Offroad you probably don't want a top case, but they are super awesome in the city, street riding, and having a passenger. I use mine for the road then take it off if I'm planing something a little more adventurous.

Yes I have the short RAXIMO levers installed with the 1Finger Camel Clutch device. For me it works fine. The setup (screw out/in) of the breaklever ist a little bit fiddly because the break switch has only a smal range to work correctly. You can hear the click. ..

Otherwise the cruisecontrol doesn' t work anymore.
