Waiting for my 901 to arrive and started discussing all the farkles I had in mind with the dealer when explorer mode came up. Answer: not available in US. Anyone else hear this?

Not available 'Yet'. KTM890 dealer in Canada says the Rally pack is also not available 'Yet'.
Norden dealer as does the KTM dealer believes they will be released soon.

According to my dealer, the system has not passed the DOT protocols, so when it does it will be available as a quick and easy download. A salesman at the dealership I bought it at told me to skip or wait on the bluetooth system as the KTM one is very "glitchy".

I've found the explorer mode becoming more available, I've added it, but not the communication mode yet. My question is does anyone have any reference material available for the explorer mode. I have not found any detail into the settings and response from the bike with those settings. Anyone have anything?

I picked my Norden up in Oklahoma two weeks ago and they were able to install the explorer mode. They installed it right away, never mentioned waiting 1K miles. I just hit my first oil change, and went out today to play with the explorer mode. I get confused on the throttle response, the MTC settings On and Off and the Off Road setting in rider mode. Can anyone tell me the difference in throttle mode when in explorer mode?

Just got Explorer Mode installed, it was only $51 for the download and install? Sometimes the little man gets a break from the big man! BTW, it's a MUST HAVE IMO. I always ride in Rally throttle now and love the ability to change slip control so easily, great when riding backcountry road, jeep trails, etc. Just move it up or down depending on surface conditions. And ABS is easy enough to manually change but would have been nice if that changed automatically when you went to a higher slip control setting.
