Deposit returned. No more 901 this year

Dealer in Western Canada returned my deposit today. They only got first shipment and had blown shock and missing parts on those bikes.
Said their promised second shipment is cancelled - total of 30+ bikes in the west won’t appear.
Supply chain issues apparently.

Any one else heard of production curtailment and shipments cancelled?

Dealer I ordered from thought he was going to get 4 or 5, he received 1. I guess I was first in line going to go and pick her up Saturday.

I had a bike confirmed reserved in Denver but ended up getting it elsewhere. Not sure if they have anybody else’s name on it. Fay Myers Motorcycle World if anybody wants to give them a ring.

My dealer said same..
Just got an update via text from my dealer (Carl's Cycle, Boise)..."Husvarna updated schedule showing all 5 Norden on order for April shipment". He said they receive exact dates once the shipment is 7-10 days out.
My dealer in Alabama took my deposit on Feb.17, saying that he have 2 coming in March... I'm still waiting for an update.
Put 500 miles on her so far, no problems once the shock was rebuilt. You're going to love it.

What problem did you have with the shock absorber?

Almost every 901 that arrived in western Canada and many is US had a blown shock. Shock was either empty of oil on arrival or leaked on first use.

When I arrived home with the new Norden I was balancing and jumping up and down on the suspension , that's when it started squirting oil on the cat. I checked it at the dealership and it was dry. I have 700 miles on it, no leaking now.

I'm just seeing this post now, but I was searching for a Norden on Feb 17, and I happened to call Fay Myers and put a deposit on that bike! Lucky me, and thank you!

I was told yesterday that the next one in (International Motorsports) is mine, however they did not know when the next one in would arrive.
