Hello all, I hope you all are enjoying your Nordens as I am. Just FYI, the Cyclops multi function LED turn signals/running light kit for the KTM 890 Adv work perfectly on the Norden. For turn signal functionality they are plug and play. The additional front running light and rear running light or flashing brake light requires a super easy posi-tap in both areas. The installation took about 45 minutes. No resistors or anything else required.

Cyclops says they are a little backed up with orders, but I ordered on May 8th and received them on June 4th. Not bad considering the current environment. The total cost was $159.85.

Excellent add on! Thanks Dude for posting the installation tips as well as the product name. Could have been tricky to source. For clarity , one question: Can i set them to enhance the brake lights but also show the rear direction I am turning? Or, is it just an LED rear turn signal without the extra rear brake brighter enhancement? thx.

Hi DuMoba,
Thank you for this post. I thought I had away of getting the OEM LED lights from Europe, but that didn't happen. So these look very promising. I went to their website via your link and for whatever reason they are not taking orders anymore on these LED Kits. I sent them a email and hope that they tell me that the kits will be available soon.

I don't know why DOT insist on some manufactures to bring bikes in to the USA with BULB type turn signals. This is obviously not the case on all motorcycle types. My Triumph Speed Twin has LED lights on it. And BMW's R1250 GS also has LED turn signals. I would be interesting to find out why they keep using "OLD" Bulb technology for turn signals, when the LEDs are better in every way.

I installed these lights. They look nice and I love the sequential movement. I went to the dealer after installing to have them switch the function from "bulb" to "LED", but the lights hyper-flashed after the switch.

Not to take away from the Cyclops folks, those are some very nice signals. I really don't need anything fancy, so I decided to go a slightly cheaper route. For about $60 all in, I picked up two sets of these: 31.03US $ 5% OFF|For Ktm 125 200 250 690 790 Duke 390 Smc / R Turn Signal Indicator Light Blinker Led Motorcycle Accessories - Motorcycle Signal Lamp - AliExpress

I can confirm that they are plug and play, no resistors needed, and the proper connector. With one caveat..... You will need to visit your Dealer and have them change the signal coding to "LED". I have a normal flasher rate and zero dash errors. The only thing I wish they had was a flexible stem. I don't plan on getting too crazy with this bike, so the chances of breaking one off are minimal. I picked up a couple of spares now that I know they work. Cheap insurance I think.

OK, a little update. Once I had the bike put back together, I now get the hyper flash and dash warning. It clears as soon as the turn signal is cancelled. I suspect it may be right on the edge of resistance. And somehow the headlight is affecting the flash rate. I can live with it. The flash rate isn't too annoying and the dash warning helps me remember to turn them off. LOL! I may play with adding a resistor inline, but I want to avoid it if I can.

I went with the cyclops evolution signals and man, they are all kinds of bright. The good people at Cyclops are fantastic to deal with so I highly recommend them.

For the Norden, the evolutions don’t fit the stock housing (that’s about to change, per Cyclops). But they do fit the stock KTM signals. I ordered some old arrow style signals from a KTM 1090 off of eBay and then installed them on the 901. I actually think these look better as the originals are too bulbous for my taste.

install is a bit more involved but pretty easy as long as you’re comfortable with identifying wiring and Tapping into power with the supplied kit.

Unfortunately I need new housings as my badass carbon fiber Tekmo exhaust has melted my right rear turn signal... I need to find a new location and a new complete unit. I put some aluminum foil tape on the back of the housing for now, but it's slowly melting away with 95-100° temps in my area.
