I have received news from my dealer that my OEM centre stand has arrived.
Has anyone fitted one of these themselves?

I don't think it will be too much of an issue, I've just had my first service done so will be awhile before another, plus my dealer is not close by. Thought I might have a go at it...figure it cant be too difficult.

Well, after a bit of research, I was able to find instructions for mounting. If you go to the Husky website
www.husqvarna.com/support you have the option to download the manual, but there is an additional box after you select your manual for the article number or part number (if you have it), this then give you access to the fitting instructions for the part you need to fit or replace.
Interestingly the centre stand is a KTM part (890), so might be worthwhile if you can’t get a Norden one, try the KTM part number. The only issue I had was the spacers were too tight so had to file and polish them a bit to get them in, a bit of grease and cursing was all it needed but a relatively simple job and did it with just the side stand. Whilst I was at it I lowered my Pivot Pegz, probably got 10-15mm lower by swapping the mount left to right.

Nice write-up, my local dealer just told me my order will not arrive til October...hard to believe Husky can't deliver accessories for these bikes!
It’s a consequence of global manufacturing delays and shipping delays. The company I work for have the same issues, plus I guess the uptake of this bike has been solid, so maybe caught them off guard? The Australian dealers seemed to have taken a stab in the dark and ordered plenty of bikes, accessories however are still in short supply, still waiting on radiator mud guard, so I was surprised the centre stand arrived, dealer had some arrive with bike shipments but were the longer version for updated suspension (890R version). I’m just getting out and riding, the parts will come when they do, until then I’m loving this bike

If you click on this link it takes you to Husqvarna manuals to download, there is a seperate area to select installation manuals
You then have to put the Husqvarna/KTM part number. Above in my earlier posts you can see the pictures but the installation manual also shows the spring locations.
There is a carrier that is screwed on, you attach springs to this plus on the other end at the starnd, then you screw the carrier on to get tension on springs. Very easy and no way to hurt yourself on the springs

I ordered the OEM stand through RMCP in Colorado Springs, stand arrived and I picked it up only to find out that the crash bars I ordered wouldn't work with the OEM stand. Luckily I hadn't tried to install it and was able to return it for a full refund. I bet they still have it for sale.

I'm in Canada. I got my centre-stand in the beginning of October. I have the Husky heavy duty skid plate. Everything fit well. So glad to have a centre-stand. It sucks being in the bush and not having one for chain cleaning and in-case of other maintenance issues.

I must have been tired last night and forgot what actually happened. 🤪

I had been waiting for the husky centre stand since June and it kept getting delayed without any new info when it was coming. I got fed up and ordered an Outback Mototeck centre stand. Got it right away. Fits perfect with the husky heavy duty skid plate.

I received my factory Husqvarna center stand about a month ago along with the factory aluminum skid plate from Edge Motorsports in Salt Lake City. Both were an easy install. The installation instructions are on Husqvarna's website. You enter the part numbers of the accessory you are installing and you simply download them.
