After seeing a few others on here do this I figured I'd try blacking out the yellow on my Norden to see what it looked like in person. I used 3M matte vinyl and once I got one side done (about 15min to get things perfect) I traced my backing paper and the other side only took 3 minutes. I also removed the white side panels and relocated my tool kit to my rear tool box on the inside of my rack. It was either this or getting a full graphics kit and I'd rather spend the $$ on other things right now. I'm still planning on getting a one piece seat to finish the look. What do you guys think?

Looks awesome! I'm just about complete mine also. I'm leaving a small yellow stripe. Photos soon.

Beautiful! I really like the way you can see the beautiful chrome molybdenum frame after taking the side covers off. I would take the AxP sticker off of the skid plate, but leave the Norden sticker on there, but that is just my preference YMMV.

Maybe like this? I've got the Enduro seat on the way, so that will change the look a little, but here's a rough photoshop job for an Idea: View attachment 1651
I like it! I have a Norden Expedition on order. I personally like the looks of the standard Norden better. Husqvarna went a little crazy with the brand badging on the Expedition it is much more subtle on the standard Norden.

I agree. Love the black and grey. The branding is almost too subtle. I had so many people ask me what kind of bike or was last year.

My best friend has the same bike and lives in my town, I had to change it up a little. Someday I'll put some proper upshift graphics on it, but for now, this will have to do

I think it's made by Touratech. It works pretty good, it's so far been waterproof and it's out of the way. It holds all of my tools, tire kit (CO2) and a tow strap. Just have to make sure it's full and add some padding or the rattling tools will drive you nuts.

Probably the toolbox for the evo/pro rack: Tool Box for ZEGA Evo / Evo X Pannier Systems, R1250GS / R1200GS & ADV ('13+) & KTM 1290 ('22+) , allthough officially it's not made for the Norden 901

Edit: the front connection seems to be the same as the box for the BMW OEM rack: Tool Box for BMW OEM Pannier Rack, R1250GS / ADV & R1200GS / ADV
Confused....
It's made for a GS, I just made it fit, it's super adjustable where you can mount it as long as you have the 18mm Touratech rack.

Looks great. The subtleness is more to my taste also. I don’t remember if I posted pics of mine, but here they are. And oh, my black Arrow silencer is enroute (along with cat delete pipe, pro breather, and PC6).
