I have a need for a tank bag that has power to it.

I need to power my phone, my GPS, my Radar Detector, heated gear, and anything else that plugs in.

Because of this, with all the chords, plugins, etc the need for a larger space is great.

Of course, I have gloves, sunglasses, windscreen cleaner, chapstick, sun screen, yada yada in there too.

So what bag are you using and are you powering it??

I recently had a 15L Xstream GIVI on my FJR but the zippers gave up the ghost after only 5 runs/uses.

That tankbag was stuffed with items and it being 15L, I'm not seeing a lot that size for sale and in use on the Nord 901.

(*BTW : I have majorly researched this on youtube etc - Tourtech, Giant Loop Fandango, Wolf, Cortech, Tusk, Mosko Moto, yada yada)

I like a big tank bag to. I went with Enduristan 4S. Ran the straps down under the seat. I have a battery tender coming out from under the seat also. Then a short attachment into the bag.
Works great and this bag is big even before you expand it.

I like that the Enduristan is waterproof (and roomy), but on this bike doesn't it get a little in the way when standing? It looks like it's 'right there'......

Yes I wouldn't be surprised if some found it uncomfortable when standing. I'm tall so it's ok for me. It is rounded at The back so it's not super intrusive. I guess it depends how far one needs to lean over on the tank?

Well, it's all personal preference and so subjective, isn't it?! For me, this will be primarily an 'off road' bike, and less of a touring bike, so will probably trade the convenience of a tank bag for a clear tank (at least near the rear at the seat area). In the few hundred miles I've actually ridden a Norden (a friends on loan), I did find myself rather far up over the rear part of the tank with some frequency.....
I do like how you've routed the straps under the seat. Cleaner look, and away from your knees.

I just saw a Tourtech bag that was black and YELLOW about the same color as the standard model. It was made for most of the BMW adventure bikes so I don't know if it'll work on the Nord. Anybody used this tankbag on their steel.?

Does anyone have the OEM tank bag installed? I'm interested in how it mounts and if it disconnects quickly to access the fuel filler.

I have it. It attaches to a plate that bolts to the fuel filler bolts. The plate contours the tank. The bag itself has magnets and seems really secure. They added a quick release strap on the front just in case. I'm happy with it so far.

Hello, I am also interested in the OEM tank bag. Unfortunately I couldn't find a single post on the www. Could you please create a small post here in the forum with photos for all of us?
Thanks in advance.

It's really extremely difficult to find a good and suitable tank bag for our 901. So your contribution would be really important for us.

Looks good overall. Pretty tight. Really like the magnetic/no strap connection. Looks like it will still allow for a reasonably good standing position, but is maybe a little tall. I wonder if that is in the 'extended capacity' position. I have one on order already, and it should arrive soon.....once my Expedition comes in, I'll see if I can post more pictures, perhaps also with rider on bike.
Thanks for posting!

Hello friends,
I looked at the tank bag from Husqvana and think it's really very bad. The quality is very bad. The tank bag is still very high in the small volume. The only positive is that the holder with the magnets works very well. Summarized. Save yourself the 250 €, the price is an absolute cheek for this really bad quality.
