I unscrewed the bottom brake lever nut and there was no movement on that bolt going up and free.

There isn't a Phillips or flat screw head on it and even with some light tapping from the bottom it didn't move.

Went over to the Clutch side and the same MO. No screw or Phillips head bolt and in fact, that bolt simply spun around while I was trying to loosen it.

Well, I have flipped out OEM levers before and never have I seen anything like this.

Any help you can give I'd love to hear it.

Sorry I’m no help here, still waiting to take delivery.
I’m glad you asked though. I have some two finger levers I’ll be installing as well. I certainly don’t remember any oddities replacing the levers on my previous ride.

There are platic caps that cover the head of the bolt. Search Raximo in this site I think you will find my posts where I replaced the levers.

If that's not it maybe post a picture of what you are looking at.

What levers did you get?
yeah, just discovered the caps on there.

5mm on top and 10mm on the nut.

I'll be working on it shortly.
