Aftermarket Fog Light Mounts (Lower or Upper Crash bar mounting)

465 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Rollin Jim
Hi all,

Looking for info on what everyone uses to mount their aftermarket fog lights to their crash bars with.

I have seen some Amazon/Ebay mounts, but they seem pretty cheap/not secure. I would prefer a better design!

(I have a set of Rigid Ignite Spot Motorcycle lights I am mounting to Outback Motortek Crash bars if it matters)

Any suggestions or tips are appreciated!

TIA

Check on Twisted Throttle website. I have bought multiple Denali Aux lights and mounts for various bikes over the years

Nice! I'll check it out. Thank you.
I have the Motortek crashbars with driving lights mounted. Mounts came with the light kit and seem to be of decent quality. They do seem to be a bit low, but I'm not sure I can mount them higher with the stock mounts. May have to look at something different to mount them higher.

I think having your aux lights that “low” as in the picture is a good choice. That’s about the height I set my second set on my 1200GS and found them real effective at that height and for the importance of other drivers seeing the bike better from the front. Yes, a bit more risk to damage the light at that height, but one I was OK with.
